Comment on new med: Hungrillazine, etc

Posted by Phil on December 26, 2014, at 13:30:28

I've found that Hungrillazine, a combo of 600mg Seroquel with 40mg of Latuda, can be extremely effective at upping clothing sizes. The combo seems to be helping otherwise.
I'm starting back on Metformin (this time working up to 2000mg.) My psychiatrist wouldn't write it. My primary care doc didn't hesitate.
Along with Hungrillazine I'm taking 300mg Lamictal and 1.5mg of Clonazepam plus vitamins, fish oil, B12, multi, D3, C...2 more meds for physical illness. My DX is still BP1 AFAIK. I've earned it.
My most challenging tasks these days are filling my pill container and putting on socks.
If the weight doesn't start falling off at max dose of Metformin, along with diet and exercise, then something will have to give. Either drop meds or stock up on Sansabelt slacks and resign myself to living the rest of my life as an old fat bastard.
Otherwise, I'm OK. 2014 wrap up. Have a stable New Year.

Thanks Brot. I go to 1500 tomorrow. I can never allow myself to feel hunger - constant eating. I think that Metformin is helping some with that. Hopefully I get at least the same results or better this time around.
