OK. I take 1200/Trileptal, 30/Abilify, 150/Tofranil, and up to 300/Neurontin.
I want to keep it at 4 meds or less...kind of like a little game, you know: what can I do with 4 meds to feel mo' better?
I'm thinking keep everything but the Neurontin. I mean, 300mgs/day? Really? Drop that and add some kinda once daily Wellbutrin. If I start freaking out, I have some Risperdal I can take to ease the wellbutrin start up.
What do y'all think?

I think a switch like that makes sense, if that is what you want to do. You already know it could be a bumpy ride during the switch. But maybe not. Might go smooth.
I'm not really a fan of wellbutrin. I mean, once in a while it does magic for the right person, but mostly I just haven't seen it live up to its hype. In other countries it did not get approved as an antidepressant, but for smoking cessation.
Anything is possible. Wellbutrin worked backwards with me....sluggish, tired, much more down, impotence. So you never know. Anyway, it seems like a decent choice to me. It works often enough I think to not scratch it off the list, even though I'm not a fan. It can work.

I remember when it was released was working in a hospital and they offered it free to all staff who wanted to quit smoking. I don't know how it turned out as left that hospital soon after. But I do remember the discussions of the staff. But always wonder what happened? Phillipa

What do you think the 300mg of Neurontin is doing for you?

Perhaps you should stick with it then, assuming it doesn't cause you any side effects?
