prozac still being used????

hello I have a pdoc apt tomorrow and I need some suggestions and Prozac worked for me in the 1990's
is it still being used much these days? lex. and Effexor seemed to not be good for me ???

It still works for me. And best of all it's now on everyone's $4. generic list.

Prozac, in my opinion, is still the best of the bunch after all these years of copycat meds. Yes it is still prescribed a lot. Zoloft would be a second favorite, though I really don't like any of them.

I found out that I responded much better to brand prozac than generic. There is a difference for many people, so keep that in mind. Whether you were on brand or generic years ago could make a difference.

With the passage of time, there is no way to predict how it will work this time around.
