hi phillipa-

hope you are well.

almost off meds! i am down to 1mg of klonopin per night. will continue to wean slowly off i am hoping.

i am far from 100% well, but i have made improvements. thnx for asking. this past summer i kind of made a decision that i would like to try some different things besides just meds.

still not working at a job. though i have some ideas that i think might just work.

some of the 'positive' psycholgy stuff works actually. and, i am close to 100% well when i am not alone and around people. also, i have been trying to do the opposite of what my mind tells me sometimes and it works. duh. i.e. showers, getting out of the house, errands, etc.

finally; try not 'read' too much in to your loss of smell. that is what i did initially. it's something we some how need to accept unfortunately. ironically i have been trying different foods (not just sugar!) and finding some very high satisfaction. i think i told you before, but temperature and texture are huge for me. your tongue can taste four things still; sweet, sour, bitter and salty. mix those up in a healthy way.

thnx again for asking about me. i appreciate it.

john

hi my friend on the left side! it all gets so confusing, lol!

i'm glad to hear some things are looking up. i'm doing well myself, but i hesitate to post a success story as it's only been a few months, and well, you know...

again, good to see you! =)

John it's the link now to both alzheimers and Parkinson's that is worrisome. No tongue taste now either. I do think something to do with cranial nerves. Phillipa
