Been over 9 years now since lost taste and smell. And yes quality of life has gone down so much. But My question is that now there is a correlation between this & Alzheimers & Parkinsons. No fear of Parkinsons. The Alzheimers has me worried badly. So how long would it take for the loss of taste & smell to manifest as Alzheimers? Can't find info on internet. Also after all this time anyone feel that zinc could help? I read that calcium can reduce this mineral and take it for osteoporosis? Phillipa

Don't know how much this could help. but there was a story a few days go in the news that was about excess copper in an area of the brain being linked to Alzheimer's. But don't forget that healthy amounts of copper are vital to your brain and body.
But I thought you thought you might find this bit of information
