i've noticed, sometimes when im researching and decide to have a bit of rum, or stoli vodka, see most of brain collpasd after being ripped off the stimulants, even thought i am on nuvigil, it littely collapsed, i could not function. So, now the urge to go out of and drink or just do things i shouldnt do...lol the other night...LoL i got a captain spiced rum bottle, put a straw in it, and sat up and researched....lol god i make myself crack up...lol but it makes want to go sleep if i have too much....so, i don't want to totally turn to alcohol to make pain go away...but its a big problems right now....
putting rum into a coke bottle everywhere i go i did that one time...just like sippin an energy drink....
but its good in calming nerves, or bad moods, but also can excaserbate anger, and do things that may regret later....half awake state....

Alcohol also ruins your liver, makes you fat and keeps you in this numbed out state where you don't feel your feelings and grow emotionally.

taking stimulants with alcohol, just makes you drink drink drink, with not much effect. Plus its a deadly combination. In fact it is the most deadly combination you can take, ie most effective at quickly killing you. Cardiac arrest! I know people who have died of this.

yea...some of my friends are alcoholics...they always have to be drunk....its just the way they cope....i met them at AA meetings, and then we went out for drinks, they just would not stop....have tons of tequila, every night....
it numbs the feelings, makes in a half awake state....and yes alcohol causes people that drink it over time to not really improve...just stay drunk and thats it....

i've drank when i was on dextroamphetmine, both when i was on it, but most of the time when the dexedrine wore off....i was in a bad mood, washed out, and i started drunking Tuaca wiskey or something and it was quite pleasant because it flooded the brain from being irrtibile after ampehtmaine wore off....
your right....alcohol increases the heart rate, and with stimualnts, yes that is bad combination. I used to take Xanax with Dexedrine...and it kinda gave a relaxed stimulation....i wasnt as motivated to do things, but those days are over with, i have to deal with the life off psychostimuants....the nuvigil is somewhat helpful but not like dexedrine was....
its hard to function, even after 5 years of being ripped off amphetamine....

I think alcohol is good just in small quantities.
When I was in my twenties I would drink a lot more than now. Not getting enough sleep or good sleep and be tired at work the next day. Some times having a hard time making it through the work day without a drink. But I did it. Even though I was probably still a little drunk the next day. Now I just drink 4 drinks a night and function a lot better at work. If I drink more than that I have a bad day the next day.Did you ever get a job or out of mothers house?

i'm going back to skoool....but i have to say, all the posts i posted 7 years ago about leaving and drama SOS posts, i've just totally redone things, i follow along with things my parents ask to do, just let go of that tension and anger...and complied, but i am going to do my best to get into database stuff on computers....
but im still in the process of trying to just recover and do things, alot of jobs i would screw up on things.....but still, i could apply to work at the Gap, because i worked there for 2 years in stock.....so maybe ill go back....
yea....small amounts of alcohol is not bad at all...its calming, a bit good for the mood, its the doses above .12percent in the blood that becomes a problem....

Also too much alcohol can make the meds less effective...
