Happened last Sunday, not yesterday. 6 am, run to the bathroom, oh sh*t.
Called 911 got a ride to ER. ER doc didn't try to diagnose then I saw my PCP and got checked out. Next, gastroenterologist to run that apparatus through a big chunk of my body. My docs PA mentioned Mary-Weiss Tears. I think it's like rupturing your insides from say coughing too hard.
Could be a bleeding ulcer or at least 3 kinds of cancer.
I don't get the feeling that's it's bad but I also don't know anything about it. Hopefully treatable with meds.
I felt pretty much like crap that day.

I have to make calls today. My doctor gave me a list of 6 doctors. I've only called one so far and his first opening is Oct.
The blood freaked me out so I went to the computer and most sites said ER now. I went back to bed. Sometimes I don't care.
It was hot and real muggy that day. When I walked outside and especially when I got in the ambulance the para handed me these groovy bags you can throw up in. I did.

Phil, I'm hoping for the best of possible outcomes for you. I've been reading the boards, and just resumed posting yesterday. Please let us know what the doctors' test results are.

No just that one time but it was quite a bit. I get scoped by a gastroenterologist as soon as I can get an appt.
Funny how one can go to prayer when blood's coming out of your body.
Yes God, I know I said you don't exist and if you did you're a dick but I've changed my mind. At least until this crises is over.
So yes, I'm worried but I've had some nasty conditions and so far I've survived.
Compared to so much of the world I've been incredibly fortunate. And I'm not afraid to die. You know? There are no co-pays in heaven or hell.

I think the docs are leaning toward Mallory-Weiss Tears. Where did that name come from? But they can't really know yet. If pancreatic comes out of their mouth it will be a fast ride down. All I can do is deal with whatever it is. Sometimes I may not appear it, I'm a pretty strong person. Oh crap, a hangnail. Where's the Kleenex?
