Hi,
Valdoxan has been around for some years now, it's different from other AD's as it works on melatonin. Only AD that worked for me was Nardil and i think i have tried most of them, this class though i haven't tied. Please share your experience!

God bless the MAOi's!
Many of us don't have access to MAOi elixir thou, I once were blessed (for 4 years) to experience the magic of Nardil, it was so fu*** good not to be depressed! It's too bad that I can't obtain it anymore thou.. my source was comprised.
It was only when coming off the Nardil when i realised how they actually worked, being without is like being in hell!
Good luck!

How's Marplan working out for you? It's VERY rare to find a user of Marplan. Also, what's the cost of it?

> How's Marplan working out for you? It's VERY rare to find a user of Marplan. Also, what's the cost of it?It is working very well I think but every 2-3 weeks I have a down time of 5-7 days followed again by a period of feeling normal/good.
I have had this with other AD as well, it feels as if the medicine stops working for a while and then comes back on, very strange. I am on 30 mg as I am also on 135 mg Nort , 600 mg Lithium and 25 mg Valdoxan.I am working 4 days per week, playing football twice per week and taking care of the Family.
I live in Denmark and Marplan is the only MAOi avilable here. The cost per pill is high, approx. 1,70 US dollars but we get a lot of it refunded by our social security system (known to be the best around).

I started taking agomelatine four years ago, and took it for a few months. It didn't help my depression, but it was a good knockout pill. I'd take it at bedtime and quickly fall asleep and wake up about four or five hours later. I belonged to a Google group that was for agomelatine users. Some of them found agomelatine to be a very effective antidepressant, it didn't do much for others, and it made some people feel worse. So it was about like any other antidepressant as far as efficacy goes, going by the reports I read.

There's been no activity in that group since last fall. Do you mean Melitor?

Okay, I'll let you know if I hear anything about Marty. Maybe he just lost interest in agomelatine and moved on to other things.
