Trivastal Retard Libido

Posted by BRman on April 11, 2013, at 16:55:51

Hello, I want to know if somebody took trivastal retard for libido problems? I took citalopram for 4 months and now after a year I'm still with libido and erections problems. I begin to took trivastal retard and in the first week I feel a strong libido and now after one week the strong libido effects are gone. This is normal? Do I need to wait more time on the drug to the full effects kick in? I'm taking one pill 50mg after the lunch. I want to know if these waves are normal and if I need to wait more time for the effects to kick in?
Thank you.

dopamine agonists

Mirapex, a dopamie agonist alo did that to me. It helped for a bit but then made it worse. I kept taking it and then it made my emotions blank. I've been stuck like this since the end of 2009.
I've talked to others with this same problem from dopamine agonists. If I were you I wouldn't risk taking another dose.

Might I suggest you try Cyproheptadine instead?

Hello Poser thank you for your answer. Do you think cyproheptadine is better for libido problems related to (pssd)post ssri sexual dysfunction?

Yes I think its great for pssd.
There are other things, natural supplements that some swear by such as MACA root or Tongkat Ali. These haven't helped me but I've read reviews on MACA and talked tyo someone on this site about Tongkat Ali who said it worked great for libido.

Here's a bit more info on what effects dopamine agonists can cause.

It seems to be well known by many that dopamine agonists can decrease your ability tyo experience pleasure after your brain adjusts to it.
