what does it mean when the tongue is swollen from taking 1.5mgs of risperdal? Shouldn't one get off this drug because this side effect is severe and rare?

First I would call your doc. Is the med new to you? If so might be a good idea not to take anymore till you find out the cause. Phillipa

i had that reaction once when i went up to quickly on zyprexa. i'd say cut dose in half if can. but certainly contact pdoc.
