How long should I wait to be conservative for MAO

Posted by gilmourr on October 20, 2012, at 13:54:43

So I have been on 30 the last few days (4 days) started 15 mg today and will be on it for 3-4 days depending on how bad it is. Right now I feel fine surprisingly.

Anyways, when I'm at 0, how long should I wait for enough MAO to regenerate? I'm guessing it's an exponential thing, more MAO regeneration at the beginning with diminishing returns later.

So would 2 weeks be enough to wait before starting 45 mg again, or should I really wait 3 weeks?

Currently I still have all my side effects that were from 60 mg, constipation, cold intolerance, mild urinary retention and abnormal reflexes to sharp sounds (dings, buzzing, ringing).

Thanks both of you.

I'm still having incredible amounts of coldness, I'm so sick of this. It's like I feel cold 24/7, always have chills.

What if this doesn't go away when I'm off the drug? Like it should, but it hasn't become any better since when I got it at 60 mg and I'm now starting 15 mg.
