would cyproheptadine (name brand Periactin) would it still increase hunger if it were taken in a transdermal form through the skin instead of swallowing the pill?

I would say yes. As long as it reaches the bloodstream it will get into the brain.

yeah i just wasnt sure if it was the fact that it goes into the stomach that causes the feeling of hunger

I'd think that it wouldn't effect hunger since transdermal? Phillipa
