Absolutely it could be.

Yes, it certainly could be. Although it's hard to know for certain when two med changes are made at the same time. Actually, going from 100 to 150 mg isn't a slight increase!

As Emme_v2 suggested, going from 100 mg to 150 mg is substantial - 50% increase. It is possible that your memory deficits will pass.

The first time I tried Lamictal, problems with memory emerged at a dosage of 150 mg, but then disappeared. At 200 mg, the same thing happened. However, at 300 mg, memory impairments remained for the entire time I stayed at that dosage (several years). At 450 mg, I couldn't remember my own name. I now find that I have little, if any, impairment while staying at a dosage of 200 mg.

I can't go above 100 mg without cognitive effects. Actually, I have some at 100 mg, but it's mild enough that I can deal with it. Reactions are individual I think. I suppose your memory issues could be a combined effect of more Lamictal plus the benzo. But it is difficult to tell without dropping or reducing one of them, which may not be an option for you. You could wait it out a bit and see if it improves.

Good luck.

i think its a combo of both ...ativan definitely makes me confused took it this morning.....dr said cyt it to 75 mg from 150 and i'm switching back to klonopin from ativan till i see him next...i think the klonopin worked better than i thought
