Dopamine and headaches

Posted by Elanor Roosevelt on February 29, 2012, at 13:33:38

Years back I had to give up Trivastal Retard because I was being slammed by brutal morning headaces. They were just like my sinus headaches but 20x worst.

Started Pramipexole yesterday and woke up slammed with a headache.

Is this an inflammation thing?

I don't think so.

I read a good deal about dopamine and headaches. Mostly about treating headaches.

Don't know.
Strategy #1: Have some headache meds laid out and the alarm set for 5.

Scott,
I am taking the pramipexole twice a day.

I have an erratic eating schedule and do have to take the meds with food. Aiming for early rather than late.

Sleeping is wild. I don't think about it as frequent wakings but rather as packets of sleep. Even had abstract depictions of it in my head last night.

At least it's interesting.

variations in blood pressure can also cause headaches. I get nasty headaches for a few days when I take anything that messes with NE.
Might be worth making note of blood pressure at different times of the day to see if it coincides with the headaches.
