Hi guys,
Went to the chiro like 4X and I'm getting better there. I think it's stress related so I'm trying to stretch daily and do some exercises to strengthen my back.
The depression has gotten much worse over the past couple of months. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress with my mom being ill and having to take care of her needs quite a bit. That and I have a son who moved out who I was worried about because he and his roommate were getting complaints, etc. and with not being able to work when I took my mom to her many doctor's appointments, my husband was getting irritated with me not working and thus less money.
So I was doing so so and now I'm not doing so well. I am in a hopeless kind of depression. Not looking forward to much, negative thinking constantly, just not happy much at all. My animals irritate me because of their needs and my kids are irritating me all the same. Things I cared about before, I can't seem to look forward to doing.
So, I started Nortriptyline three days ago because it did work for me along with the paxil last year. We'll see. I've not been this depressed in quite a while and it's a little scary to feel this way.

I am sorry to hear of this.I know what you mean about a son,animals,husband-that you are trying to deal with,making sure everyone is happy.It can really drain you.Can you try to get out everyday and walk,get sun,read a good book,get a massage?Just suggestions until the med works.

Laney didn't know it was this bad. Sorry about your Mom. Will she recover? You have a lot of stress on you now. How long did it take for the nort to work for you before? Your Son moved out? Phillipa

My mom should recover but she's got a major surgery ahead of her and then cataract surgery on both eyes right after that.
My son Jesse moved out about 3-1/2 months ago on his own (own apartment). He now needs to move back in with his dad because he and roommate got themselves kicked out.
I can't remember how long before the Nort. started working last time. I don't think it was very long and it was truly noticeable so here's hoping.
