Wow. your story is powerful. I was in my second year in college on the west coast... I had remitted from Zoloft months before, but I started taking benzos after that event. I was worried we'd be struck next and was having awful nightmares. I'm glad your Dad made it, that's incredible. I have a similar story about the 1989 earthquake in SF... had if not decided to visit my brother and I at the last minute, if would have been on the cypress structure of the 880 freeway that collapsed when the quake hit. Thanks for sharing that, Scott.
