today as it comes

Posted by rjlockhart04-08 on August 14, 2011, at 0:19:57

I'm waiting for the Strattera to work. I really don't want to be disappointed because my pdoc will proably not go to wellbutrin. Listen I've been thinking that I need to find a new doctor but I can't until i move out on my own and get a doctor that will give me what I want. I am a drug addict and I understand how I operate. Resisting things that change the way I feel is the only way to stay abstinent.

I need to talk.

Strattera is not going to stimulate you like the adderall or dexidrine.

Yes. I don't expect it to be stimulating because I know its not a stimulant. I already had my chance with stimulants and I blew my chances by abusing it. Really If i could change things I would do it. The situation now is I need to find a good doctor. Not a addiction specialist.

Thanks Zyprexa. I actually am taking 20mg of Zyprexa and it doesnt do...i've adapted to its effects so when I take it nothing happens. Very much like a placebo.

So which is it you want? Do you want a doctor who will prescribe drugs you will abuse - - or do you want a doctor who will help you 'resist' (by not prescribing), so you can stay abstinent?

Matt, for what it's worth, I was told Strattera was a medication that took, maybe a few months to really do it's work. Please don't ask me the science behind that,, because I don't know it. It was told to me that it works on resetting something.

This is vague, I know. I was just told a long time to kick in.

Maybe the zyprexa just seems that way and if you would stop it you would suddenly realize it. Atleast thats what happens with me.
