Anyone had success with thyroid?

Posted by Zonked on August 9, 2011, at 10:01:53

Has anyone added thyroid and noticed a significant difference? My neighbor (the one I took to have maintenance ect) told me his energy level was much higher after adding thyroid. Just trying to give myself something to look forward to at my next appointment I guess. I'm having trouble staying out of bed these days.

If normal 1-2 wouldn't mess with this critical hormone. Phillipa

Agree with you, Phillipa. Between 0.75-1.5, 2.0 for someone with thyoid symptoms or mood disorder. Everyone will feel differently though.

Some supplement with t3, but t3 puts my anxiety through the roof. I don't know why. Regardless, t3 is strong stuff.

An antibody check (for thyroid antibodies, ESP if your level comes back high) is always good. In due time : J

Thyroid will raise your energy level, but if you arnt hypothyroid, it can be extremely unhealthy....muscle loss, bone loss etc

Correct good answer FB. The T3 does the same to me tried it once with synthroid. Short acting and supposed to give energy. I think that is why some use armour. Phillipa
