does any one use celexa for ocd and at what strength ---did it make you sweat initially??

Just a quick question. But are there any other reasons you could be sweating? It's been so hot. Not saying you don't sweat from meds as we are all different. Phillipa

honestly i'm thinking its anxiety or maybe starting celexa at 20 mg a week ago called dr. today want to bump it to 40---thinking anxiety

When you take ssri's they can cause more anxiety at the beginning.
So yes sweating could be caused by the med, give it time, if it persists contact your doc again, if you think he is fobbing you off, see another doc

Sweating is a well recognised side effect of the SSRI antidepressants - it usualy settled given a bit of time.
For OCD, doses higher than 20mg are usualy needed, 40 or even 60mg.
Usualy one starts of with 10 or 20mg a day and slowly builds up until you get releif
