Hello, i am taking prozac, low dose amitriptiline and perphenazine and because of the depression that doesn't want to go away my doc added Welbutrin, 150mg per 48hours. I don't know, but the medication says that it must taken daily.
Is there any meaning to take it once per 2 days?

Sounds a little odd to me, the usual dose is 300mg/day - taking it once every 2 days is very unusual. I would double check with your doc and make sure thats what he wants/ask him to docuble check his intention

Well, i know him, he will tell me to follow his orders. I wonder what will happen if i take it everyday... :S I don't know what's his intention...

Seriously was an RN and docs write scripts wrong a lot not intentionally but we all make mistakes. As wellbutrin is taken daily. 150 is a normal starting dose. Let him know you think might be written wrong he won't get mad probably will be grateful. Phillipa

he might be thinking to titrate slowly on the substance. although it would make more sense to start with small dose daily. maybe at first he wants it to settle in your system??
not sure. but i do know that there is caution of seizures with this med. so to go slow is a good idea.b2c.
