Yes, I think it has something to do with prozac's anticholinergic action. I get small round poop when I take prozac. My friend who takes prozac said one day,"Dude I'm sh*tt*ng pellets..What's up with that?" I laughed. I think the effect subsided. Zoloft doesn't typically have this effect.

Thanks. I did not know Prozac had a significant anticholinergic effect. Does it affect memory?.I like it is more stimulating than Lexapro.

It likely won't negatively impact memory, the anticholinergic effects are fairly mild, but strong enough to cause problems like you are experiencing. Stay with it, this side effect might go away with time. You could also try some magnesium citrate for better bowel movements.

there is more serotonin the gut than the brain. i forgot what it does there, though. anyway who couldn't use more fiber and magnesium?
