Wellbutrin allergy

Posted by LongRoad on May 22, 2011, at 17:53:52

I started years ago on Wellbutrin (my first AD). I had used it for a few years with no side effects, then it began pooping out.

I had tried it again about a year ago and it really helped in combo with Dexedrine for my ADD. Problem is, I developed hives. Stopped taking it and tried again on 2 subsequent times - I tried the brand, generic, XL and IR - hives each time.

I would really like to add it to the current regiment and I wonder if there are ways around the allergy situation, i.e. very small dose with really gradual increase.

If anyone has had success circumventing the allergy, I'd love to hear about it, thanks.

it could be youre allergic to something in the filler material. Maybe try another manufacturer, another type (SR, XL, IR) or the name brand.

I don't know that I covered every generic, but I tried a couple along with brand and different time release versions.
