I am thinking about going back onto Effexor, either 75 or 150mg and was wondering if they start to diminish after longer terms (ie more than a month)? I remember it being a pretty heavy offender, but it worked well with social anxieties. Someone was saying that at higher dosages it hits more receptors possibly reducing this?

Sexual side effects can diminish with time. I think most people find that they don't go away completely however.
Effexor becomes more stimulating at higher doses. This may counteract the sexual side effects to some degree.

Ginkgo biloba can counteract the sexual side effects (with other meds as well as Effexor).
