I wonder if allergies, or at least reactivity (with symptoms) will occur with many pharmaceuticals if taken for long periods of time?

It's possible that it is dexedrine. It's also possible that aches and pains accompany depression and anxiety. You could stop the dexedrine and see what happens.
The only way to see if any drug or drugs are causing problems is to stop them..Talk to your doctor first. But remember that depression and anxiety can cause aches and pains.or at least make them worse...

Could also be lyme's disease or some other parasite.

Wondering will not get anything done..Have to eliminate possibilites in a scientific way..Also arthritis can be a function of aging..

Get a full panel of bloodwork done that looks for parasites also..

Hi FB

I suppose anything is possible. However you have been on Dexedrine for a long time now so it's odd that the problem would just suddenly occur. Or is it something that you have experienced since you start Dexedrine?

Hugs,
Maxime

Probably not an allergy in the purist sense as in a histamine driven reaction.

thanks :)

I don't think I'm allergic. Histamine as Glyndin wrote, I'll have to look up :)

I'm having some health issues and was frantically accusing all my meds.

Thanks all, and best.
