Since the lithium trial is not going that well, I was thinking of Keppra. I psychopharmacologist recommended it for me years ago. I don't know much about this med and there is not much in the archive.
Side effects?
Optimum dosage?
Efficacy?Any comments would be most appreciated.

The NIMH, NIH recently reported that their investigations of Keppra did not yield any positive results. Have you tried Trileptal?

Hi Scott, yes, I have had positive results with Trileptal but according to med checker it's contraindicated with Parnate (possible serotonin syndrome). I don't know if med checker is correct ...

I feel validated when you say that you are surprised too. :-)

From what I have read, there is no pharmacokinetic interaction. I haven't found any mention of a pharmacodynamic interaction either.
