Depakote works great for me, but it gives me insomnia.
Does anyone take it before bed to combat the insomnia?

Sheila, I took it before bed to avoid daytime dullness--but you and I seem to react differently....

Ummm. I recall feeling very dull and lethargic; however many meds make me sleepy, like pristiq!
Insomnia is a long-standing issue, so I'm not sure I can give you an useful answer.
I'm so glad it feels good to you. A low dose?

I used to take it before bed because it would knock me out. If it gives you insomnia I guess you will have to take it in the morning.
