Although I never did could you dose be too high? It does last a good period of the day. Maybe a shorter acting benzo? Phillipa

I've tried them all...This seems to work the best for anxiety by far....I still have to take it twice a day, maybe my metabolism is very fast. I cannot take it once a day. Begins to wear off late afternoon.

That's a problem. Less at night you won't sleep? And if you take the same amount during the day no hangover effect? Just the night time dose? Well it builds up in your system. Have you asked the doc? Phillipa

haven't asked the doc about it. I just assume he would say don't drink at all lol.

Some users report hangover-like symptoms of being drowsy, having a headache, being sluggish, and being irritable after waking up if the medication is taken before sleep. This is likely the result of the medication's long half-life, which continues to affect the user after waking up, as well as its disruption of the REM cycle.

I did well w/ 1.5 mg for quite awhile. I dosed .5 mg 3 times per day and had round the clock coverage w/ little dulling and no hangover. Taken all at once, it would have been too much and reduced continual coverage. I assume you take this for anxiety?
In addition, initial sedation receded until it became about transparent. How long have you taken it?just my experience,
