First kids, a quote

Damn it, Bones, you're a doctor. You know that pain and guilt can't be taken away with a wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away. I need my pain.
-- Kirk, Star Trek V The Final Frontier.

I think I'll just stop with the quote/ FK it.

Well, I don't think one can accuse Kirk of being a depressive--just maybe melodramatic....

Frankly, I'd love to lose myself.

from a country song: if you leave me, can I come too?

Have you ever noticed that the worse (what does that mean?) the drug the more brightly coloured the tablet?

Last time I checked, pharm companies were the highest profit industry in the states. Not even oil beat them.

They are crooks.

Personally, I don't think the pristq tablet is sexy enough--square and 'peach' colored. I did like the color of my ex-abilify--at the low dose a lovely light blue. The higher doses weren't that same wistful color.

Then there are the generics--drab, drab, drab! aesthetics kicked to the curb....

i like when new meds are given to you in capsule form so you can't titrate properly

but my favorite is how the words on wellbutrin look so much like a smiley face

I'm wrong of course.

Paracetemol is reliably white.

Maybe the really good ones (no need) and the really bad ones (why bother) are white and the psych ones are strongly coloured to keep the natives happy.
