I've been on Zoloft for 4 mos. now at 100mg. It has immensly helped me with my depression. It has helped somewhat with my anxiety as well, but not enough. My pdoc increased my Zoloft from 100mg to 150mg two days ago. I started feeling very anxious yesterday and all day today. Is this normal to occur during a dose increase and will it subside as it did on start up ?

Yes, Zoloft gave me ANXIETY no matter how high the dose!

totally normal for anxious people like me and maybe you too by the sounds of it. Benzo's worked best for me to keep this under control. If you don't have any maybe ask your doctor about what might be helpful for you to take the edge off. Good luck

The same thing happened to me when I was on Zoloft. I took a bit of clonazapam for 3 or 4 days until my system adjusted to the increase...you pdoc should be able to give you some advice (perhaps a benzo) to get you through the adjustment period. Hope this helps!

Only got to 50mg so no improvement. Was on benzos so felt nothing. Phillipa
