I have been on 100 mg twice a day for about a week now.
When my dr. prescribed it, I'm pretty sure he said to start on 100 mg twice a day, then to go up to three 100 mg per day. But when I read about it on the web, it seems like only the regular WB (not the SR) is taken three times a day, and I can't figure out whether that will be safe or not. The stuff on the website says that for the SR, at least eight hours should pass between dosages. This is difficult to do when you're taking three of them.
(I probably should call to confirm what he really said, of course :))
Any ideas?

Hmmmmm, I am not sure if this will be at all helpful but I am on the XL version and I take 300 mg once a day. So, the dosage sounds right but the timing of SR is something I know nothing about. I suspect after speaking with your doc, you may need to play around with the timing of the doses to see what gives you the best response.

That said, you could also just take 200 mg for one of your doses, and 100 mg for the other. I used to take 200 mg twice a day, so I can guaranty you that it is safe to do, at least in terms of taking 200 mg wellbutrin SR at once. I'd probably take the 200 mg in the morning, given that many people find wellbutrin to have some stimulating effects - thereby avoiding excess stimulation at the end of your day, when you're likely planning to sleep. I called and he said it's fine to go up to 300 mg per day. I'm going to wait a few days, as I still haven't gotten a true full-night's sleep yet.
