My 12 year old daughter has anxiety which is causing depression, she hasn't been at school since October. We've tried Lexapro, too stimulating, Prozac, which knocked her out. My husband takes fish oil, and it really helps him. I'll ask her Dr., but I'd like to know any success stories. Thanks--Vickie

Hi Vicki see you're new to babble and welcome lots of knowledgeable people here. I might try posting this on althernative board. As that board deals with nurtritional substances and this board more with traditional meds. Welcome again and hope you find relief for your Daughter. Phillipa

Nahhh, I've been lurking on this site, unfortunately, for several years. My depression is pretty much under control now, but hers is just starting. It's bound to happen, in runs in my family and my Husband's. This website is great, and the people are so kind, and I have learned a lot here. Thanks-Vickie
