25-50mg of amisulpride is said to be quite effective. I have used it and it definatly improved the negative type symptoms (and made me quite social) for a while but then started making me strangly sleepy for some reason

"Negative symptoms" is actually a fairly specific term, and refers to a constellation of symptoms associated with a disorder the original poster may not have wanted to name. My guess is that the original poster figured anyone who could offer help with his question would recognize the reference.

Hope that helps.

Remeron (mirtazapine) an antidepressant, has been used as an add-on for negative schizophrenic symtpoms.

You also might want to try a high dose of the amino acid glycine. It is supposed to be good for negative symptoms.

You have to take 30-60 grams (yes grams) a day in order to get a beneficial effect.
