You should get a lot of responses to this as some also take for anxiety and higher doses for depression. How does it make you feel and at what dose? thanks Phillipa

I take 300 mgs. bid of Lyrica daily. I love it, it's very effective for depression and anxiety.

King,

How long have you been taking Lyrica? I want to make sure this is not one of those meds that "poop" out in a few months. I am interested in it for anxiety. I would love to reduce my Valium which I take 20 mgs per day for GAD/PD

I'm so encouraged to hear you are doing so well on it. Thanks!

Toothy

This is my second round with Lyrica. I took it last year and it did poop out after about 4 mos. This time i've been on it for about 3 weeks. I may take occasional 'breaks' from it this time to prevent developing tolerance.

What happens if you take breaks from lyrica and how long would they be? Is it very pricey? Phillipa

Taking 3-4 day breaks will make it work better when you restart it. It's 'semi-pricey'.

King,

Do you think that Lyrica could be taken 3-4 days out of the week for anxiety at a low dosage to avoid tolerance. I really only need anxiety relief on about 3 days per week. If so, is it better to take it at night before you sleep. I found it gave me a lot of fatigue for several hours (50 mgs) when I took it in the daytime.

I was thinking about taking 100 mgs at night so I sleep through the drowzy side-effects.

Toothy
