Drug Problems

Posted by Fivefires on September 1, 2007, at 18:19:05

I’m in troub’ this morning.

I forgot to take my little dose of Abilify last eve’ and my Provigil supply isn't enuf to get me through to Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!???????? No doc until Tuesday :{.

I didn't realize until this a.m. Called and no pdoc on call.

I was going in for samples, so the local ‘nurseline’ here cannot just call the pharmacy.

They said go to ER and I DO NOT HAVE $50.

tks, 5f

You can go to your local pharmacy and they will give you two or three to hold you until Tuesday. I do it all the time. Good Luck!

Not option, but yes this is a good idea and local pharmacy did so this once for me w/ prednisone.

I've been getting samples of Provigil though, so not an option here.

But, tks for suggestion Phillipa, 5f

They wouldn't do it for me with ambien and I am a regular customer. I forgot to call the doc before a long weekend so I ran out. Let me tell you-it was a L O N G weekend.

Isn't Ambien one of those meds you shouldn't quit abruptly?

No friggin mercy.

Sorry 'bout that KayeBaby, but frankly I was quite surprised a pharmacist gave me prednisone. I mean, I was on a prescribed 5,4,3,2,1 regimen, and somehow it was interrupted, but jeez, a steroid(?), and he seemed almost 'eager' to quickly give it to me.

I don't know what they'd say about Ambien. Probably not dangerous, unless you'd been on a long time, and had to go w/o for three nights, like this vaca' wkend.

Think there rules cab bend according to the pharmacist, the pharmacy, and the med.

I'm like a zombie just lying around listening to music and dancing (yeah ... all around my room ... ha hahahha)

Oops, forgot about people living downstairs. My music might be a tad bit too loud.

C pdoc 2moro.

ps: I'm taking back-up!!! Ha!

actually ambien is okay to stop all of a sudden. I had to because all of a sudden, I began to sleep walk around the house naked and call people in the middle of the night...lol my pdoc took me off it immediately! I had no side effects but once again, everyone is different. Good Luck!

Phillipa .. I was laughing and opened this and then you made me laugh again!

People sometimes do go outside and walk while they're asleep. ROFL.

Dang .. that was kinda' difficult. What?

The two days w/o the Provigil! That's why I began to post. I wanted to say have it back and pdoc said take 1-1/2 a day.

Wait. Hold the phone. No! Put the phone down!!!

What?

(Never mind me. Phone was ringing then said lost signal. A/C went out. There was some 'breaking news'. Everything was happening at once and I'm still confused. Gotta' save someone who lost their AC!)
