First i wanna say im disapointed to see such a lack of response to my posting today which is a few up.I thought pointing people to a actual doc looking to get invovlved would be more of a topic then is seems to be.

Second there is a thread about nardil, and in the midst a mention of doing a google search.

Well FYI: When in google,go to MORE.....drop the options to the search option labled SCHOLAR.

This is a new feature, and a search limited in this field (SCHOLAR) will likly bring up more technical information on meds such as studies done, etc, and just all around more informative then the reptitive ads and general stuff you get on a normal google med search.

thats google, more, limit search to google scholar field, and search your med there.Good luck.

I saw your post. I think it looks very
interesting and thoughtful. I just haven't
had the concentration to go through it all.
But I think it's very generous. I'll look at it
again.

Steel I thought this was very interesting, I read with interest and joined his email list. They are doing very cool things there it seems. Could not agree more about how great it is to find an empathetic doctor (HARD TO DO) and if I lived in your area I would go see him too, if only because of your wonderful description of how he treated you at the visit. I did not originally respond to post as there is no chance of me ever seeing him -- I live on the other coast -- but I should have, because it was quite valuable and inspiring. I hope your dr./patient relationship continues the way it began and others post good dr. info too.

Wow thanks a million guys. One thing i want to point out,the myspace page wont invovle being local.

If you have a page, just simply ask him to add you.Im not sure what exactly hes going to do,but i do pages so i personaly will make sure his page is done right, but local or not if anyone has myspace and becomes a friend on his list the future will likly hold ways in which hell actualy do q & a`s and in fact i dont know the degree he will go into but it looks promising.

If he sets up threads hell defiantly play a role in them as well as a few other associates hes working with.I try to be careful with emails as i dont want to cross the patient office visit line,i just want to see the average joe have some professionals out there who will throw us a bone,it is our input that he will seek to progress his work.

I personally worked with the Doctor and he was the most knowledgeble doc I've ever known. The nurses favorite and the patients too. He's incredibly knowledgeable about meds and kindness and listening to patients. I'd give anthing to see DR Parker again not as the role of a psych nurse as that isn't possible now. But as the role of a patient. See when I worked with him I wasn't sick I was a charge nurse and he always involved us in asking info on patients and how they were doing before changing a med. So if Dr. Parker you are reading this I miss you greatly as I know you would find a med that is perfect for me. I hope you're continuing to work-out. You were always so smiley and fresh scrubbed when you came on the locked unit in the am. And always quickly responded to any phone calls we made to you. People this is the very best pdoc I know and I've worked with a lot.Welcome to babble Dr. Parker. Love Jan Whitman at the time. And Bill worked with me too. I know you know him S last initial.
