Does emsam work very good for SA? Also, what would be the shortest period of time to switch from 45 mg nardil to 6 mg emsam?

Good question is the same as other meds? two weeks? Love Phillipa or is prozac 5 weeks?

(Apologies for the breezy, imprecise, and possibly inaccurate info in following, but I believe it is all roughly accurate.)
I plan on starting EMSAM for social anxiety/social phobia this weekend. I expect I'll need 4-6 weeks to evaluate effectiveness, but people on board seem to be having positive reactions (or negative side effects) fairly quickly so maybe something sooner.
As stated in other posts I'm currently using low doses of Neurontin, Klonopin, & dexedrine to get a modest anti-SA effect and will use that as a baseline (reverting just to klonpin & emsam once i start that trial, since EMSAM seems to be activating & may metabolize to amphetamines).
Nardil effects GABA which has been implicated in SA/SP and I haven't seen any indication that EMSAM does. Combining emsam with klonopin may help help however. Will post experiences periodically.
