pramiracetam - experiences

Posted by polosdupe on January 29, 2007, at 18:18:57

hi my first post on this site - and i want to know what ppl think of pramiracetam as a drug and how it benefitted them. i take valium and pramiracetam for my social anxiety and i find that it really helps. one problem though is pramiracetam is prohibitively expensive. i have tried piracetam and aniracetam but found both not to be effective. I am am curious as to how effective Oxiracetam is compared to pramiracetam in terms of mental stimulation. if anyone could babble mail me a good source for pramiracetam i would appreciate that too. Also with valium i have only been taking this for 3 weeks will the anxiolytic dimish quickly as i become dose tolerant or will i be able to keep up 10 mg dose divided daily for some time? or should i swap valium for klonopin as i heard this is good for social anxiety. I dont want to atm though as i am having good success with this combo.

I take buspar, an anxiety medication, to address the "overthinking" that I occurs when I treat my ADHD with Focalin XR or Concerta. The buspar is cheap and effective.

Is there any sound research that supports the use of these "racetams" for anxiety or other purposes?

I tried all four you mentioned and nefiracetam and I do not believe that they had any effect in any way. It may be that these are simply weaker than ADHD stimulants and so any effects aren't noticable. It may also be that I am simply wrong. If they were effective I would expect to see positive reports and I just don't see them.

Never tried pramiracetam, but I did try aniracetam. It definitely did something, but it wasn't particularly nice or useful, just a bit of a strain.

Centrophenoxine was the worst. I'd been given a betting system to make some money and I mucked that up completely and then was so unsetlled I left my wallet in the TAB.

ive ordered some modafinil. i think i will take 10 mg valium daily as my anxiety reducer and experiment with stimulants such as the above and racetams. rhodiola rosea seems to work quite well too.
