I cant find any thing around this house! I have a case of ADHD to the max.
I am going crazy right now because im trying to find things buried understuff, paperwork, do i have ocd?, no because i am too disorganized, but then crazy about trying things. I mean nuts, i pace the house, breath, think for a minute, go into the next room and just stare. What is wrong with me?
I have been on every antianxiety agent, the only one that i ended with is Alprazolam, i went through for 4 years, Lorazepam 2mg X 3 daily, Clonazepam 2mg X 3 daily, i hated Clonazepam. Ativan just made me more worried in a mellow way.
I am currently on Alprazolam 2mg X 3 daily, which works with taking away crazy thoughts but still i may need some antipsychotic to make this go away, also on Prozac, zyprexa, restoril.
I need to make a life change in my head

right now Xanax, i have been through hell of meds. Respirdal (antipsychotic) just made me a zombie and not even think right.
I have asked my doc if i have OCD, he said possibly because its mixed with in a circle of ADHD, OCD, and BI poler.
Mainly its confusion, anxiety, miserable.
Meds cant really fix things, well i take that back yes, and no.

Is this new behavior or have you always been like this?
I had a really bad time a few months ago with feeling like you are. I now know it was the meds that I was on. They made me forget everything, be extremely unorganized, feel overwhelmed and just act and feel out of control of my life. I do tend to have ADHD symptoms when I get really stressed out.
I also felt like I had early Alzheimer's and last night I saw that this is really happening earlier to people. This man was 45 and was starting to forget basic things and has been diagnosed with dementia. That is shocking...it is now being more easily detected so it's being picked up much earlier. So my thinking is not that far off to say someone as young as myself could have it. I can imagine how scared he must be knowing this will only get worse, that is worse than depression, I think.
So, it's probably your meds not controlling your depression effectively and the symptoms you are having are from that, but you could also have ADHD. Many people with depression also have ADHD symptoms.
