minutes ago .
I opened the box and I found a different presen
tation of Nardil . This is not the one I have been taking for the last 2 years . It doesn`t say
it is from pfizer. It says it is made by
CONCORDE PHARMACEUTICALS
is this the originnally version of nardil , the
one that didn`t suffer any change?or what nardil is this?
Help with this one

Hi Tep,
Concord acquired the rights to sell Nardil from the Parke-Davis Division of Pfizer. I don't know if it is the new or old formulation of phenelzine sulfate, probably the new. Their web site is www.concordpharma.com and you can E-Mail them directly at enquiries@concordpharma.com. Hope this helps.

Hi Tepi
The Concord Nardil is the UK Nardil. It comes in a little white pot. You need to store it in the fridge.

Hi Tepi

What happen If dont do this?Yes, it's recommended. If you don't keep it in the fridge it will expire more quickly - don't ask me how quickly though!
>is this the old or the new Nardil?
It's not the same as either of the American formulations.

Wouldn't it break down more quickly because of the moisture in the refridgerator? After all it is said that the medicine cabinit in the bathroom is the worst place to store meds because of this. PS, Nardil tastes like burnt plastic. Yech!!!

Hi NP
I think it needs to be kept cool to prevent it from degenerating. Don't ask what it degenerates to.

Naughtypuppy,
If the bottles of the U.K. Nardil have a little plastic cylinder filled with silica gel inside of them like the Australian Nardil used to, then that should prevent excessive moisture from building up inside the bottles and reacting with the phenelzine sulfate.
Hope this helps.
