Hi.
Haven't posted here lately. I was on Lexapro, loved it, then it pooped out after about six months, even though I upped the dosage. Eventually I discontinued with no issues or side effects.
I'm depressed again, facing alot of the same issues. I'm thinking Cymbalta sounds different -- I've tried paxil, zoloft, prozac and wellbutrin and gotten almost no positive effects.
Anybody out there just on Cymbalta and liking it? Thanks for your thoughts.

I've been on Cymbalta for 19 days now
7 days at 30 mg (many side effects)
12 days at 60 (the side effects have gone away, except for the bladder hesitation)I have really bad insomnia, and taking the cymbalta at bedtime didn't seem to be helping me. Pdoc gave me 25 mg of Seroquel that I use to make me sleepy.
And I thought I was doing okay, even better! But I had a pretty bad crisis starting last Thursday. The gory details are on the Psychology board. (look for cognitive dissonance & disordered thinking part II)
I'm going to stick it out for a few more weeks. I've got a lot going on in my life right now, and so that's not really making things easy for me.
I hope you find the AD that works for you.
this is my first ever experience with medication, so I cannot provide basis for comparison

First time on cymbalta neither good or bad second time couldn't tolerate it. A lot of people start real low and increase slowly. Good luck. Love Phillipa
