Seroquel is now being prescribed for anxiety. I took it at 25mg for eight months and it worked real well, Recently, I have had something other stresses in my life, and the pdoc moved me up to 300mg before bedtime. As of right now, that does not calm me down. I was curious if someone took a higher dose and found anxiety relief? Thanks, Michael

200mg i heard makes people just get knocked out. That is very wierd. I have never taken seroquel.
anyways, maybe you should ask about Ativan a benzodiazepine.
Maybe 1-2mg. Well at night 4mg is i heard is the Highest for sleep.
Anyways, i take Zyprexa, 2.5mg.

Its prescribed for a lot of conditions. As you know already I take 1100 and I am going down back to 1000 I think for the time being. I recall someone mentioning doses as high as 1600. Its a very low potency at D2 (and other) receptor agents so it has such a wide variety of dosing. You don't really get a clinical dose with Seroquel monotherapy until about 300 or so. With SSRI and antipsychotic adjunctive therapy, the antipsychotic dose is usually smaller.

I take 800 mg, 400 twice a day. Its for bipolar disorder but seems to help with anxiety too. :-)Tammy
