ADRAFINIL

Posted by bigcat on April 9, 2006, at 17:32:59

since dexedrine once worked so wonderfully for me, I'm looking into ADRAFINIL. I found an online vendor (Quality Health) offering 40, 300mg tabs for $24. Is this a good company/deal? If anyone is familiar with the med could you fill me in on:

(1)A good source (I live in U.S.)
(2) Whether or not you need a prescription
(3)A dosing schedule (I'm generally very tolerant to psych meds). Of course I would consult my pdoc, but she's a little brainwashed, prescribing SSRI's and AP's exclusively
(4)Any tips/pointers/good cocktail ideas

much love,
-matt-

We aren't allowed to talk about buying drugs on the net on this forum.

Hi Matt

Adrafinil (Olmifon) is related to modafinil (Provigil). How do you find modafinil?

Love

Hi Matt
Adrafinil eventually gave me 'states of inner tension', but for a while, 6 months or so, I took between 2 and 6 tablets a day. At its best it was mildly euphoric. Does not, however compare to Dexedrine IMO. I combined it with Hydergine for a meeting and had trouble speaking. Just awful. Now I feel I just don't like the effect.

thanks Declan and Maxime. i never tried Provigil, Ed. I'd like to have a little chat if we could Ed, run some ideas past you. Keep an eye out for me on IM.

Not being able to talk- I've been to that painful place many times. for lack of a better word, I become mildly retarded on some psych meds. the problem is some have worked very well from time to time, so I can't seem to give them up now that I know what I'm missing.

Adranfil and the various amphetamines are very different animals. I liked modafinil but haven't tried its parent drug.

Hopefully Modafinil will go generic this June like they've been saying it will, I want to try it again, this time it would augment Parnate though so I may not need it.

Google it and you'll likely find it.

Like the other poster said, Doctor Bob doesnt allow such things as this to be discussed here.

Personally I had a better experience with Adrafanil than Modafanil

Modafanil just made me feel jittery, and gave me insomnia!

Adrafanil helped with motivation and mood, Unfortunatly it gave even worse insomnia!

Adrafanil was only effective at dosages of 900mgs, and then only after a few days.
