It used to kick after 3 o 4 dayds at only
45mg. I have been more than 2 weeks and nothing
happen yet. Im having the worst depression I ever
had in my life. Im starting to take 75 sometimes
90 . I only can be at bed. I feel terrible
terrible. I can´t talk to nobody , this is the
worst because I need a job rigth now. Can you
tell me what happen if add a little bit of Parnate to Nardil . Am Im going to have an Hypertensive crisis or what is rhe danger with that?. Help me guys

Sorry to hear things are rough for you :(
But I would not combine Nardil with Parnate. Ace once posted that someone got a stroke from combining these two. I really wouldnt even try a little dose of parnate.
If its really unbearable, I would try to get into hospital, if possible. maybe you can call a relative or friend to help you to get there. Would that be an option?

Try not to let your desperation cause you to do anything impulsive or reckless.
Playing with drugs is not in your best interests. Regardless of what was your previous experience with Nardil, it might take 2-3 weeks at 75mg before you see any improvement. Waiting is very difficult, I know.
For now, it might be a good idea to work on the anxiety.

I have Risperdal not Zyprexa, I guess you are thinking that this are gonna make stop thinking in suicide rigth Scott?
Scott I am very bad now, I can´t leave bed. I dont eat nothing. I´ve just drink a beer to cheer me up. I feel bad.
Do you believe an stimulant could help me combat this Social Phobia ? I have tried all kind of meds , except those. Doc is also suggesting ECT. I never have heard this good for social phobia.
Rigth now I feel stupid , I don´t care nothing about life , I dont want to take a bat , I dont want and I cant talk to anybody I haven´t eat in a single pice of food in all day and Im not hungry. Never ever have I felt like this in my whole life before. I just want a magic pillthank you for your support
by the way, can you tell me what would happen if I have a stroke? how is a stroke ? how dangerous is ?

Tepi where is your girlfriend I know she lives in the States. You must call her on the phone and get her to come and get you or get someone else to get you to a decent doctor in the states at a hospital Now!!!!! Don't wait you have waited too long. A stoke is a very bad thing. It can leave you paralzyed unable to speak at all or walk or never ever work. Ace just answered anothe of your threads he said it will happen you will feel better and you have to eat anything. Ask someone for some food. Don't add Parnate to the Nardil. Way too dangerous, especially the way you are feeling now. Can you get hold of some benzos. I used fairly high dosages of clonazepam(3mg-5mg); just to get some relief until the Nardil had a chance to work. This can sometimes take several weeks at your 75-90mg. Hang in there guy. I've been right where you are at, and it will pass.

Nardil can take a few weeks to kick in. Perhaps you could take some Seroquel to help keep you calm while you wait for the Nardil to start working.

I will repeat what I said my doctor asked me that one time long ago when I was waiting for Nardil to kick in. "Do you feel ANYTHING?" That goes for weird feelings in your head, side effects, ANYTHING? I told him I did to which he replied "well that means it is in your system doing something, give it a little more time" Probably the most insightful thing he could say to me. And sure enough about 4 days or so later I was on top of the world. Tepi, I would ask you the same question he asked me. Do you feel ANYTHING different? You might need a higher dose but you might just need some more time. Depression is excruiating believe me I know. Just try your damndest to hold on for just a little bit longer.
In the meantime we are here.

Hi Tepi,
It's so good to hear from you...I think about you,and pray for you many times each day. Like Phillipa says, Is there any way you can come to the U.S.? Remember this, Social phobia is very common, I have it, heck I bet most people here have it. What you must keep in mind is that it is treatable, very much so. Nardil and Parnate are considered two of the best meds for it. Klonopin is also very good. But most people do best with "Talk Therapy" and drugs. See if your doc can set you up with a good Therapist who specializes in Social Phobia. Also,although I'm doing pretty good right now, I Still battle social phobia once in awhile...just to give you an example of what I do, when I start worrying too much about what people are thinking of me I say to myself F*ck them, I don't care what they think of me...and this really works for me-takes some practice, but it works! Let me/us know what your plans are,and how your doing. Please post something, even something very small everyday...we're all very concerned about you Tep. I Love and care about you my friend..and anxiously wait for the day to come when you are feeling much better!May God Bess You,

I hope, as you sound, that you don't feel quite so bad as you have done. It is awful though to feel that all of the very ordinary pleasures of life are beyond you because of your fear. But Nardil worked reasonably well for you before (better than anything else) and eventually will do so again, with time and trial and error.

I think I should give Parnate another try. It was only four days. Very short time

That was one week ago Jane. I had to travel to the city where I studied my undergraduate degree. Im looking for a job, I live alone here. My family is in another place now, also my exgirl. I know this is dangerous but I have to do it =( . I need to work
