Does anyone know of a nice, tolerable anxiolytic that can be taken with Wellbutrin -- and is Catagory B?
Thanks.

I took Benadryl and Unisom during both of my normal pregnancies. MY OBGYN recommended them to help with my anxiety since I insisted on discontinuing Zoloft. The sedation, unfortunately, is a given, but they DO help with nausea.
Best wishes,
Colleen

since this was such an issue during my *times of confinement* - what a strange way to put it, huh?! From what I read, Ativan and Xanax are the safest benzos because they are the shortest acting. Anxiolytic TCAs seem to be the safest for anxiety during PG, and the SSRI most recommended was Prozac.
Have you tried doxepin? (aka Sinequan) Good luck!

Buspar fits the bill. It also has a very mild withdrawal so it's safer than a benzo, in my opinion.
Feel better,

Colleen, I printed out that link, and thank you very much for it. Best source of information I've seen -- other than Larry Hoover's risk-benefit analysis essay, which was also great. I guess I'm still figuring that I can get through a year of depression, if a healthy child results at the end.
Thanks again, and I'm sorry I didn't think to thank you before.
This is the end of the thread.
