Grandma's akathisia is better. Requip did the trick. Although she's fading fast. :(
She decided to stop her heart medicine and is now getting hospice care. I don't know if she realizes what CHF will be like in the end. But it's her choice, and at nearly 92, well...She's much more comfortable, though. And I really appreciate the info y'all provided.
Thanks again.

GG,
I'm glad to hear that she's more comfortable now.
>She decided to stop her heart medicine
Perhaps she could restart a couple of her meds, especially the one's which provide the most symptomatic relief eg. Lasix.

gg sorry about your grandmother and lasix would keep her lungs from filling up with fluid. It's awful when they do. Again I'm sorry but it sounds as if your grandmother is at peace. Fondly, Phillipa

The caring and support on this site is overwhelming at times. In a good way, of course.

Thanks. So far, she doesn't have pain besides angina. I wonder is she quit the nitro, too? I hope not.
I suppose I should redirect this to health or something. Social?
