i am taking lunesta because i started the abilify and it gave me insomnia. the psy told me to take it in the morning. are there any bad side effects from lunesta. as for the comment for gardengirl the doc i went to is a psychiatrist. and my auditory hallucinations came from a bad mix of phentermine and paxil that my weight doc prescribed. it was the weight doc fault so there are no physical symptoms going on that caused that it was from the two meds because i had never had thoughts of hurting my son until i took those two drugs. its so good i was aware of the thoughts and let my son live with my mom so i can get help. the voices have deceased but they are still there. i am headed down a long road but i know i will get rid of those horrible voices thanks to god.

Glad things are getting better and I hope they continue. Still, it's important to get a physical exam from time to time. Perhaps your GP can take care of that.

And actually, Lunesta has a long list of potential side effects, as do most medications. But many folks do not experience any side effects.

Good luck with it. I have had insomnia before, and it's no picnic.
