BEST WAY TO KILL A BORING LIFE!!!!

Posted by FrequentFryer on November 6, 2005, at 9:55:51

1 WORD FOR YA MAOI
if your fat take parnate... skinny, take nardill.
Trust me Ive taken allot of drugs & tranylcipromine (parnate) is my favourite pretty much at the moment, especially enhanced with vitamins.
And very few side efects cos u dont need much.... you dont need to worry about the tyramine cautions.. Just be careefull @ first & carry some pindolol {which potentiates it slightlY 2)
Just hope I dont get a tollerance.. 2 it
Also dont take any mdma, or amphetamines with it... But you dont need em because parnate gets me happier then like 50 mg d-amph & 75 mg of mdma
& theres no comedown which is the best part..... & cheap

parnate has a huge pooping out problem...

i've only taken it on a few times. the first time, i couldn't really see much help... i would get dizzy, stare, and twitch a lot (the twitching i get anyways, though)... i think i may have been slightly more active, but not really functional at all... the second time for a few days i was trying 20-30mg of parnate and 50mg of desipramine... it was actually amazing how i actually started to do things where the decisions would usually be a brick wall to me. but i was still very scattered, my thoughts were so disorganized and i kept speaking forcefully quickly and unable to ihibit it. i was worried that it was a transient unhelpful "hypomanic"-like response. i do not have bipolar, so hypomania would be impossible in my case, but i mean more like the overblown craziness you would expect from coke or something. (not good for me as i can be a very violent person)

my suspicions are that it's just a dopamine (and norepinephrine) drug that people gain tolerances to, causing poop out or needing to increase the dose. certainly some people respond for extended periods of times, but i think they're just lucky... and often their doses are sratospheric.

i don't mean to be pessimistic, but please watch out... hopefully, it will be a permanent solution for you though. for some of us we'll just have to wait 50 years until the doctors are willing to give us ECT and see where that goes.

What vitamins/supplements do you take with parnate? Also, how much Parnate do you take and how do you spread the doses?

My experience: once I started parnate, i didnt gain weight, eating habits didnt change dramatically, AND i even felt (and truely seemed to be) in slightly better shape without having worked out (body composition, strength, etc.). Although the change was minor (compared to if I had taken Anabolic steroids or growth hormone or something), I'm convinced parnate made me psychologically more satisfied with my appearence, as well as imporve it in an objective sense. Further more, lately I've had the motivation to start and stick with an excercise program, and I've made further progress since then.

Granted I've read experiences of ppl who have gained weight on parnate, I don't believe it has any effects that would have made it the cause of this in those cases.

ps. I am also interested in what vits would be good to take with parnate and why.

DAMN GOOD QUESTIONS!!!
i JUST STARTED TAKING IT & IT WORKED LIKE 2 DAYS LATER, WHICH IS ODD FOR ANTI D'S. Nardil Dosn't (I think Parnate is the most dopaminergic legal drug.)

The weird thing is since its like Amphetamine, & I do definatly feel like im on amphetamines some times but then I also get REALLy tired some times.

I am on 40 mg.. & am gonna try taking them around dinner time Take fishoil, been drinking like 700 ml of Bourbon a nite (but Ive just been on a Bender)just started taking b-12 & Folic Acid. might order some trptophan 2. Also Yerba mate Tea to keep me awake.. But it dose very little.

How long have you guys been on it and whats your regiem if ya don't mind me asking?

i havent tried any but b vitamins, with that no effect other than radioactive pee. i've tried flax since i'm vegetarian, no effect recalled, thought i didn't take it very long. i have barely enough energy to try anything, i don't think id have an aware enough brain to even notice a difference either.... ugh... i wish i could pay someone to clean my house and kill me.

I was on Parnate until recently, up to 60mg, and it did poop out on me pretty quickly. I lost a significant amount of weight on it because it killed my appetite, which was great because I had just gained a lot of weight on Remeron (w/Effexor). I also suffered from very bad insomnia, constipation and constant orthostatic hypotension. I am EXTREMELY treatment resistant (have been on more than 30 meds and had ect) and am now thought to possibly be bipolar. I am on Lamictal now with Klonopin and my mind is much clearer, I have more energy and the debilitating depression is finally starting to lift. As far as vitamins go, I am taking B-12, folic acid and magnesium -- don't know if they're doing anything, but it doesn't hurt. Take care, Lauren
