day. Up at 6 a.m. Job interview at 8:15. Work from 10 to 4:30. Picked up my meds at the pharmacy - I HAD to as I was out of Effexor - yikes! Helped my mom with paperwork then bathed kids. They are now watching Clifford the Big Red Dog so I got a chance to go online. My last day of my seasonal job is tomorrow and then two children start school next week (kindergarten and Head Start). I also go back for a 2nd interview next Tuesday for a medical receptionist position for a 3-physician general surgery practice. I had my best interview today than I've had in years. My meds are working and it's incredible.
How are you doing? Have you started the nortryptiline yet? Or have I got the wrong name there and/or the wrong spelling? Anyway, I hope you are doing well!!!

HI Phillipa- I was thinking the same thing, I've posted a couple of times in the last day or so with no response and thats so unlikely...Well since I know you're pretty familiar with all of these meds I'm going to add my post here and see whats your opinion as I truly value your kind words. :-)
well I was going to try to fight through these side effects but my doc doesn't like that they're not easing up at all yet. So, after a 3 week trial of the effexor she's weaning me off...She will wean me off for a week and then start me on wellbutrin and continue to keep me on the lexapro 10mgs. I'm soooo nervous about these next couple of weeks because I know alot of changes are ahead- but hopefully in the long run, they will be changes for the better.'
Best wishes to you guys...I'm sure you'll be hearing from me flipping out a lot soon...
PS- Does anybody have previous experience with getting off effexor and on wellbutrin??? I just would like to know of any positive results...

Gee thanks for the kind words. If your psychiatrist doesn't like the side effects then you should stop. I know a poster who didn't have any side effects just stopping. And when I took effexor for only a week at 37.5mg I didn't have any either. I felt so much better as they made me feel spaced out. As far as celexa is concerned if you are tolerating it then I stay on it. I guess your energy must be low or libido if he wants to start wellbutrin. And maybe that would have worked for me too as when I tried celexa I was so so tired. We'll hang in together as I finally am getting up the nerve to pick-up my nortriptaline and start it tomorrow night. I guess if the side effects are really bad I'll just not take it anymore. Hope this helps just a little as the experts link excluded are not present today. Fondly, Phillipa

Sorry you said lexapro but basically lexapro is the new version of celexa I believe. Fondly, Phillipa
