Remeron For Sleep and increased Hunger

Posted by goldenslumbers on August 29, 2005, at 12:47:21

Can anyone comment on their experience with tiny doses of Remeron ?

I have been med free for 10 weeks and doing reasonably well. Lately my sleep has been short and my appetite zapped. I am worried about falling back into my anxiety problem.

I did take 15 mg remeron for a short time during my last anxiety episode and it made me sleep and eat but I didn't like the spacy feelings I got when I heard a loud noise.

I am tempted to try a small dose to help me sleep and eat but I don't want to return to meds if possible. Any advice appreciated.

See my post above - try 3.75mg for sleep, divide a 15mg tablet into 4.

Kind regards
