Hello, Everyone! And also, about Niravam...

Posted by Ame Sans Vie on August 15, 2005, at 9:51:09

I feel so bad because I used to post here constantly and lately I just haven't had the time because I've had such a busy life. Suffice it to say, I've been "cured" for several months now, thanks to a combination of fluoxetine (40mg q.d.), alprazolam (4mg q.i.d.), clonazepam (2mg b.i.d.), methamphetamine (15mg q.i.d.), secobarbital sodium (200mg h.s. prn), Xyrem (2.5 grams q.i.d.), Dexalone 30mg t.i.d.), NADH (20mg b.i.d.), DL-Phenylalanine (2,000mg t.i.d.), chelated calcium/magnesium, phenibut, fish oils, and of course multi-, antioxidant- and B-vitamin complexes.

Sounds like a lot, I know, lol. But some of you may remember that I was extremely medication-resistant and have tried everything under the sun to find a "cure" these past five years. My last med trial was Parnate along with Klonopin and Xanax... while it was definitely a "cure", the Parnate eventually began to turn me into a pseudonarcoleptic, but ah well... things are wonderful now. I was extremely agoraphobic and didn't leave the house for years, and now I'm about to move out with my newfound significant other (yes, I chose that euphemism because I'm gay, lol). I'm also happily employed and am starting back at the university this week!! :-D

Anyway, I'll catch up more with you all later -- for now I was just wondering if anyone here has tried Niravam... ? I just learned of its existence today and I'm quite curious to try it, as I always take my alprazolam sublingually anyway (I get those large round Mylan 2mg tablets - not quite as vile tasting as the bar varieties, lol). Does it possess the horrible bitter taste that immediate-release Xanax/alprazolam tablets do? Does it begin to take effect more quickly? Thanks so much for any information you can give me!

~Michael

Hi Michael,

I posted about Niravam a few weeks ago but no one seemed to have tried it!

I'm sorry to hear about the Parnate trial, it was going so well. Anyway, it sounds like your feeling great right now :-)

Hey Michael
Its great to see you back

I know you had a struggle finding effective treatment, I’m glad things are finally working out for you

I’m impressed that you didn’t give up, in my darker moments I think that no one on babble ever gets better.....

Glad you found love to!

I’m afraid I don’t have much to say about Niravam, I never heard of it till now

Best of luck anyway, keep us posted
Tom

That's a combo and a half. All very interesting. I shall spend the morning looking it all up when I get back from the pharmacy. So many different things you're taking, a job at a uni and some love in your life.
How lovely.
Declan
